An area from before "city planning", that survived the air raid of WW2, with small streets where cars don't fit. Individual fabric houses and shops are squeezed in. Suddenly, among the dense maze, clear spaces appear. Those spaces are kept for future city planning by Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It will be used for some purpose, but not at the present, just "Akichi" (vacant lots). This project gives opportunity for a catalyst to recognize the "Akichi" as precious space that has potential to contribute to the global ecology and mental health of people who live in the area.
