RIVER HERITAGE TILE MURAL

High School students and senior residents were the first participants in a tile painting project, which over the next months will include people of all ages. Residents represent their observations, memories or experiences of the river, the land, and other aspects of the region's ecology. Fired tiles will be installed in the form of a large quilt for placement somewhere along the walking trail in one of the pocket parks.
